Our School
Hoyland Springwood is a warm, welcoming and inclusive school. Family sits at the heart of life in Hoyland Springwood Primary School where you will find us happy, warm, nurturing, welcoming and inclusive. Hoyland Springwood is a smaller than average primary school located in the former mining community of Hoyland.
We believe that TOGETHER WE SHINE and that all children, irrespective of background or need, progress socially, emotionally and academically. Through creating an ethos of respect our children learn how to be good people with the aspirations to succeed. The school values every child’s individual successes and these are celebrated whether big or small.
All achievements at Hoyland Springwood start with a high aspiration from everyone that inspires others to excel. It is important that our school community has high aspirations in order for the children to fulfil their potential.
We currently have five classes catering for children from Reception to Year 6.
