After School Activities at Hoyland Springwood
At Hoyland Springwood we offer a wide range of after school clubs to enhance children's development and social skills. Clubs run everyday throughout the term from 3:30pm until 4:30pm.
Most of the after school clubs are free, there is only a small charge this term for the Baking club to cover the cost of the ingredients.
As we recognise the importance of a healthy lifestyle we offer sport clubs for the children to participate in, along with clubs including colouring, craft, cookery and indoor sports meaning we have a club to suit every child.
At the end of each term a new letter will be sent out to parents informing them of the clubs for the next term, the letter should then be returned to school and parents will be informed of the places they have been given.
Below are the details of clubs on offer for KS1 and for KS2 for Autumn Term (4th November - 19th December 2025)
Monday: Makaton, Indoor Sports
Tuesday: Games, Xmas crafts, Tag rugby
Wednesday: Baking (£1.50 charge per week), Netball/Benchball
Thursday: Craft (£1.50 charge per week), Hide & Seek
Friday: Film, Dodgeball
